Island Aggregates Agree Long Term Sponsorship of Southern 100 Race

Island Aggregates have had a long term association with Southern 100 Racing since the mid 1980's.  This has been further strengthened in 2016 as we've agreed an initial 4 year sponsorship of the second 'Senior Race', which takes place on the Thursday morning of 'Championship Day'.

Southern 100 Club President Derek Nicholson said:  "The second Senior Race was introduced last year and proved very popular with the racing fans, so the Race Committee suggested it should remain in the programme for the future.  Island Aggregates intimated that they wished to become more closely involved with 'The Friendly Races' so everything came together and, on behalf of the Southern 100 Committee, I am very pleased to welcome such a high profile Island company as a sponsor of our races at Billown".
